Terms of Use

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Mimi Studio d.o.o., a limited liability company organised under the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, with its registered office at Trubarjeva cesta 79, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (hereinafter "Mimi Studio", "we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, accessing or using the RoomReveal mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Important Disclaimer: Not Professional Advice

RoomReveal does not provide architectural, structural, electrical, building-code or safety advice. Every design the Service produces is an illustration generated by an AI image model for inspiration only.

A design may be inaccurate, may misrepresent dimensions, materials, load-bearing structure, wiring or plumbing, and may show something that cannot be built, cannot be built safely, or cannot be built lawfully where you live. Product and furniture likenesses in a design are imagined, not sourced, and are not offers to sell.

Always consult a qualified architect, structural engineer, electrician or contractor before altering a real room. Never disregard professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you have seen in this app.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. The Service is not intended for use by children.

4. Your Account

The app creates an anonymous account on first launch, so that your designs have somewhere to live. You may use the Service this way without ever signing in.

To keep your designs across devices, and to let a subscription follow you, you may link your account to Apple, Google or an email address. You are responsible for the device and sign-in method you use and for all activity under your account, and you agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

One person, one account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are shared, that are created to get around credit limits, or that we reasonably believe have been compromised or used in breach of these Terms.

5. Your Photos and the Designs

5.1 Your photos

You retain ownership of every photo you upload. By uploading a photo you grant Mimi Studio a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store it, transmit it to the AI providers named in our Privacy Policy, and generate and show you a design from it — solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service, and only for as long as you keep the photo. We will not use your photos for any other purpose without your consent, and we do not use them to train AI models.

5.2 What you may upload

You may upload only photographs that you have the right to use. Do not upload photographs of other people's private spaces without their permission, photographs whose main subject is a person, or content that is unlawful, infringing or offensive. You are solely responsible for the content you upload.

5.3 The designs

Subject to these Terms and to our providers' terms, the designs generated for you are yours to use, personally or commercially. AI output is generated from statistical models: it can resemble other images, it cannot be guaranteed to be unique or original, and it may not be eligible for copyright protection in your jurisdiction. You use it at your own judgement.

6. Credits, Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Credits

Each design costs one credit. Every account receives a free monthly allowance of credits; a subscription raises that allowance. Unused credits do not carry over to the next period, and credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or redeemed.

A design that fails, or that fails our automatic check against your photo, is refunded to your credit balance automatically. A design that finishes is charged, even if you dislike the result; tell us with the thumbs-down so that we can improve it.

6.2 Subscription plans

RoomReveal offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid features are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store.

6.3 Free trial

We may offer a free trial period to new subscribers. Where we do, the length and terms are shown before you subscribe. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts automatically to a paid subscription at the rate disclosed.

6.4 Billing and renewal

Subscriptions are billed to your Apple ID and renew automatically for the period you selected, monthly or annual, until cancelled. Apple charges the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.

6.5 Cancellation

You may cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, RoomReveal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access to paid features until then. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

6.6 Refunds

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple under its own policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer right you have in your country of residence.

6.7 Price changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices and credit allowances. A price change takes effect at your next renewal, Apple will notify you in advance, and continued use after the change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

7. Intellectual Property

All content included in or made available through the Service — text, graphics, logos, images, style presets, illustrations, software, and the overall design and compilation thereof — is the property of Mimi Studio or its suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. This does not affect your rights in your own photos or in the designs generated for you under section 5.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service. You may not:

Copy, modify or distribute the Service's content without our written permission.
Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app's software.
Use the Service or its output to build a competing product or service, or to train a machine-learning model.
Scrape, harvest or collect data from the Service by automated means.
Remove any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
Generate content that harasses, deceives, defames or misrepresents a real place or property, including in a property listing or sale.
Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers or its networks, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.
Use the Service to transmit malware, spam or other harmful content.
Use the Service in any way that could harm minors.
Redistribute, sublicense or resell the Service or its content.

9. Availability

We do our best to keep the Service running, but it may be unavailable, slow or changed, and features may be added or removed at any time. Designs may take longer than usual when demand is high.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure. We do not guarantee that any design is accurate, achievable, buildable, lawful, unique or fit for any purpose. Any reliance on a design is at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for any decision you make based on it.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MIMI STUDIO AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, OR FOR ANYTHING YOU BUILD, BUY OR COMMISSION ON THE BASIS OF A DESIGN.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, OR EUR 100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS SHALL LIMIT OR EXCLUDE LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED OR EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE, FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Mimi Studio, its officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, the photos you upload, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may delete your account in Settings, Delete account. This removes your account, your photos and every design made from them, and it cannot be undone. An active subscription must be cancelled separately through your device's subscription settings; deleting your account does not cancel it.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 2, 5, 7, and 10 through 14 survive any termination.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also be entitled to submit a dispute to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the applicable laws of your country of residence.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the End User Licence Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mimi Studio regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings. The End User Licence Agreement governs your licence to the app software; where it conflicts with these Terms on a question of software licensing, it prevails.

15.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

15.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

15.5 Amendments

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by other appropriate means, and the effective date at the top of this page will move. Your continued use of the Service after a modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
